The title of this chapter is "The Ways God Reveals Himself". This chapter of the book talks about how, as we get closer to God, we are better able to understand him and his ways. In this chapter, Dr. Stanley explains intimacy and how we can have an intimate relationship with God. He also talks about how this will affect other areas of our lives.
Dr. Stanley talks about the things that God uses - sometimes things seemingly insignificant - sometimes much larger and more significant. He cautions that we should never assume that we know how God is going to work in any given situation.
Part of this chapter deals with what we should do when we know that we are wrong. It discusses admitting the problem, acknowledging God's sovereignty, asking for forgiveness and praying for God's guidance. Dr. Stanley reminds us that there are no limits to God's power.
Dr. Stanley closes this chapter by talking about the results of our saying "no" to God, and how these results can affect not just one area, but all areas of our lives, as well as our relationships with other people in our lives.
